MONDANGO 2 - ALLOY YACHTS

Launched by Alloy Yachts to Lloyd’s class in 2008 and designed by Dubois Naval Architects, MONDANGO 2 was built for extensive blue-water cruising. Finished to exceptionally high standard, she has fulfilled the brief for a stylish yacht capable of fast, comfortable ocean passages.Her 1,200hp Caterpillar engine gives her an awesome range of 7,200 nautical miles at 10 knots.

MONDANGO 2 continues a progression of large flybridge yachts and displays clean lines, subtle sheer and low profile coachroof. The aggressively raked windows of the coach roof wrap all the way around in a dramatic sweep of curved glass to accentuate the modern exterior.

The hull is finished in flag blue with a white superstructure. A gold cove-stripe provides a handsome accent against the dark hull and establishes a theme repeated on the two booms.

The coach roof extends aft to encompass the mizzenmast and provides a long overhang protecting the aft cockpit. The port and starboard side windows of the cockpit as well as the spectacular curved rear window all open and close to create a climate-controlled single-level extension of the main saloon.

Her modern and fresh interior by Reymond Langton accommodates 10 guests in a full-beam Master suite, two VIP guest cabins and two twin guest cabins with additional Pullman berths. The overall desired style of the interior was a combination of modern and timeless elements with a subtle Oriental influence.

This beautiful high performance sailing yacht has been meticulously designed and built by dedicated owners who have been involved in every aspect of her development. Much research has gone into the harmony and comfort of the yacht and the result is simply breathtaking.
